Natural Beauty Tips For Healthy and Glowing skin

We have listed out the perfect tips to help you achieve clear, healthy and glowing skin by following natural methods of skincare.

1. Take Appropriate Sleep

Getting an adequate amount of sleep every night is essential for a healthier mind and body. When you get proper sleep, it gives your body and mind the time to relax and rejuvenate. Research has found that people who were sleep deprived had puffy and swollen eyes and also had dark circles, more wrinkles and drooped eyes. The cause for this the stress hormone called cortisol. When you are not well-rested, your stress level goes up and hence cortisol levels rise which cause a decline in levels of collagen. Dermatologists say that one must aim for at least 7.5 to 8 hours of sleep every night.

2. Maintain a Healthy Diet

This is one tip that I can never emphasize enough on. A healthy diet is equal to a healthy body and healthy skin. An unhealthy diet can cause skin problems like acne issues, oily skin and more. To avoid these dreaded skin problems, try to maintain a healthy diet which is rich in nutrients and minerals.

3. Exercise Regularly

Exercising on a regular basis keeps your body and skin healthy. The good thing is that you don’t have to run a marathon for healthier looking skin, you just have to get moving. Pick up an activity that you love doing, like taking a walk in the park, or cycling around the city. when you sweat, excess oil and dirt is removed from your skin and it can make your skin look healthier. Exercising regularly also adds a natural glow to your face.

4. Stay Hydrated

Drink enough water to help yourself stay hydrated. As a basic rule of thumb, you must have at least 7-8 glasses of water a day to keep yourself hydrated. A dehydrated skin can make your skin lose the much needed moisture and make it look dull and dry. To avoid such problems, make sure you’re always hydrated. Keep a water bottle with you at all times.

Also when you buy a face moisturizer, make sure that hyaluronic acid is mentioned as one of the ingredients in the moisturizer. You can also consume fruits and vegetables rich in water content such as cucumbers, tomato, watermelon, etc.

5. Reduce Stress

Stress can do a lot more damage to your skin than you can imagine. When the body is in stress, it releases a stress hormone called cortisol. Increase in cortisol can lead to unhealthy and tired looking skin. To reduce your stress levels, you can choose to meditate or pick up your favorite hobby and spend some quality time on it to keep your stress at bay. Exercise also helps in releasing stress from the body, with an added advantage of keeping your body fit.

6. Exfoliate Regularly

Though skin cells are capable of regenerating themselves but as we grow older the process gets slower and dead skin starts to get accumulated. Thus we must exfoliate our skin with a natural scrub on a daily basis to scrub off all the dead skin and reveal the bright and glowing skin underneath. Here is a quick natural scrub recipe. Take a spoonful of coconut oil and add some coffee to it. Mix it into a fine paste and scrub it on your face in a circular motion. Then wash it off with luke warm water.
